Neighbor Home From Disney

Neighbor returned safely home from his Disney trip over the weekend. He was happy to see new tomatoes on his plants. And most of all was glad to be home.
He enjoyed the time spent with his family. This was his first trip to Disney. But he said it was way too hot to really enjoy the trip. But glad he went and spent the time with his family.
Enjoyed coffee in the screen room earlier. The temps were in the 60s. I was shocked. Very nice morning. The cats enjoyed the sunshine as well.
Photo is mine. One of my larger Eeyore mugs. Enjoyed every drop of coffee today as usual.

I have to tell you I’m so thankful I went to Disney World when I did (in the 70s). I think it’s so commercialized and, well, too big for its own britches now. Back when we first went there you got a ticket book with five classifications of rides (A through E). Of course all the good rides were E tickets, but you could see all of Disney World in a day. When I went to Disney Land in California in 1983 I appreciated the fact that it was more simple as opposed to the behemoth Disney World had become (and I hadn’t seen anything yet).
I know, shut up and go sightsee.

My friend is having his daughter and his twin grandsons and all are going to Disney---he can't believe what it will cost for 4 people!!

My wish to go to Disney someday. We have a local Disney here called Enchanted Kingdom but have been to visit only one time.

I thought maybe he brought you home a new mug. Glad you got to enjoy cooler temps this morning.
It's not too bad in the house right now but it's supposed to get into the high nineties later today.

I was surprised to learn from Chuck on Noise.Cash that you must have a reservation to get into Disney. I guess they are always full to capacity; and can't take you if you just show up!!!???

@CarolDM Can you imagine traveling really far to get into Disney; and they turn you away because you didn't have a reservation? I wouldn't have known if it weren't for Chuck and Jeff.

I can imagine how hot it was among the crowds and all. Glad he is home safe, If I went to Disney during this tropical heat I would only be going on all the water rides, Just love all your Eeyore mugs
