A Good Ole Georgia Boy

It’s much cooler today. I think we might have had a shower in the night, I’ve had a lot to do today and just got back home . I went to the library and gathered up a load of books. Two I’m especially looking forward to reading ( If I Ever Get Back to Georgia I’m Gonna Nail My Feet to the Ground) by Lewis Grizzard, a good ole Georgia boy. He wrote for the Atlanta Newspaper and was on the radio. He died several years ago. He was my favorite comedian. The other book is a Stephanie Plum. She’s so outrageously funny. I also carried a load of books to the free book box and brought back three. I had to buy birthday cards for two little ones who have birthdays in July. Now I’m home cooling off swinging. @jobelbojel It’s according to how many pages are in the book and how large the print is. I don’t know that I read any faster than anyone else.

@JudyEv I don’t believe anyone here has heard of him.He wrote a lot of books was on radio and I think he was on TV. He passed away probably twelve years ago or longer. He was still a young man.

I have several of her books and I’ve liked all of them. I don’t believe anyone here knows Lewis Grizzard. He’s well known in the South.

I'm a big fan of those Stephanie Plum books too and outrageously funny hits the mark. Those books not only make me laugh but hungry too

I used to go to the library. Now I can read ebooks any where in my smartphone. It's a lot handier and easier now. It's been a lot cooler in my area and the sun is shier as if hiding behind the cloud. We love it.
