Will I get to visit the pool today?

I see both clouds and blue sky outside. The air on my feet is not cold. I just checked, and it's supposed to hit 80 F today.
As is often the case, my back hurts like hell. But when I swim, it tends to feel better. I hope I can make it to the pool today.
Right now I'm going to do a bit of work on my book. Then I will try to learn the "next part" to the intro to Sweet Child of Mine. It's for a 10-year-old student.
But I also have to teach him that "man does not live by riffs alone." He has to learn the chords to the song.
How is your 4th of July shaping up?

It looks like I'll get to play some tunes with a friend today. This will be among the tunes we play. He is a very talented musician.

It’s shaping up to be hot and noisy. Hot today; and, if last night was any indication, noisy tonight.
At least the windows didn’t rattle at 1:45 AM this year like they did last year.

We are now at the 5th. I have not been to the pool either the inside or outside. It seems there is always something else to do. I see lots of clouds but it is supposed to be hot here, the last I knew. Temperatures in the upper 90's.

It's partly cloudy here with temps at 95F. (I just woke up for a few minutes and decided to check out myLot.)
It's really quiet outside now after all the big boomers going off at 6 am, we thought it was going to be a day from Hell.
I hope you've made it into the pool.

@TheHorse Yes, I always listen to the songs you play and sing as soon as they're posted to your YT account. (BTW, I gave out the link to your YT channel again yesterday. A young woman asked me if I'd heard any good music lately. I hope she leaves you some comments on your songs.)

Not yet. I'm going to go play some tunes with a really talented acoustic guitarist. He is largely responsible for my ability (and tendency) t play in DADGAD tuning. Have you heard this one? He and I are going to try and play it together today.

NOthing really going on here it is very hot out and the sun is broiling so I am keeping in the room with my AC, Surprisingly for a resort town Daytona Beach is very quiet this Fourth it almost seems like everyone left town

They are pumping out the swimming pool at our retirement village. This doesn't usually augur well. Pumped-out pools often develop other problems.

Have you seen a doctor about your back? I hope you got an opportunity to swim. The 4th was very uneventful for us.
