Do You Take Cold Shower In These Hot Days?

A friend of mine has been taking cold showers for decades. He takes cold showers even in winter. In Hong Kong, the temperature in winter is about 6-10C. Some research suggested that taking cold showers offers many benefits such as increasing circulation and calming your itchy skin. People trying this practice usually start by lowering the temperature of the water. I prefer taking a lukewarm shower. It makes me feel more relaxed. During these hot days, do you take cold showers?

Yes. If there's a need to do a cold bath when it's too hot, I don't hesitate to do so to lessen any heat in my body.

Just try the temperature of the water. Cool it down until you feel comfortable.

I start with a normal temperature shower, and then the last bit of the shower it is cold. I sometimes get overheated in the shower and I have blacked out twice, so I also cool myself before I leave and it helps a lot when the day is really hot.

Yes, I do that too. Otherwise, I sweat a lot after the shower.

Hot water makes my skin dry and itchy, and I can't stand cold water. Lukewarm is just perfect for me.

I do like to take cold water as a bath. Cuz I do get sneezing after I take hot water as a bath

I cannot stand the cold even in such hot days. I find lukewarm water more comfortable.

Once when we didn't have hot water for a couple of months I had to take cold showers and I really disliked it.

Yes , i want a cold showers when its hot days in my place here . Cold shower relaxes me and makes me happy

Me too. Hot shower makes my skin itchy and dry. And I find cold shower too cold.

We don't take cold shower or bath. We use the water from the faucet which is just the normal temperature.
