I've been craving ice cream

I've been craving ice cream for some time now. I've not had any since last summer. Sometimes I'll eat it in the winter months but I was too cold last winter to buy any so I never did.
Then two months ago my husband began a diet and I didn't think it was fair to eat ice cream when he couldn't. But he had to stop the diet for a bit and we decided we should get some so I went to Kroger a bit ago and bought some chocolate with fudge in it.
Chocolate is not my favorite but it is my husband's favorite. I like most flavors with nuts and other things included. I also like fruit flavored ones but we don't have room in our freezer upstairs for more than one tub at a time.
If you eat ice cream what's your favorite?

Good to know of craving ice cream. How I wish I know how to crave ice cream too. Chocolate and vanilla ice cream been my favorite.

@luisga814 our summers here are fairly short so if you enjoy ice cream you tend to eat it all year round.

@MarshaMusselman Here in my country, when it's hot, we ate ice cream. Sometimes I think it's been odd when I see movies during winter they ate ice cream just like what you've mentioned. We ate ice cream to at lessen the heat in our body.

Butter pecan is one odd my main favorites too. My blood sugar is fine and overall I watch my carbs so a bit of ice cream won't bother me.
I made spaghetti for my husband's super tonight while I had vegetable linguini made or of kohlrabi. Then I put pesto on top instead of spaghetti sauce.

@MarshaMusselman I think I over did it with Ice cream and chocolate candy and messed myself up. Now I have to go cold turkey. Your supper sounds delicious.

I just got some Neopolitan ice cream sandwiches they are really good and I get a mix of vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry

I almost got neopolitan ice cream in a tub so I could have something other than chocolate. Ice cream sandwiches are good too. I should have bought those as well.

If he doesn't own a machine I think it takes a lot of turning by hand. Homemade ice cream is the best especially since your know what ingredients do into it.

I love chocolate ice cream. This looks so yummy. I took my son and the baby for ice cream yesterday while we were out for my baby’s pre surgery Covid test. My son got chocolate peanut butter and I got Cookie Monster crunch I think it was called that I shared with the baby.
My husband and I both have the same favorite ice cream … mint ting a ling. We actually have the same favorite cake as well … carrot cake.

When we have our in the freezer a lot I can go without it every day too. The one I bought is hard to scoop or so I might lose interest.

Wow. I don't know that I would ever wait that long although sometimes I'll have halo ice cream instead which is less carbs.

Nothing like cooling off with some ice cream on a hot summer day 
Definitely hard to resist! I usually buy Turkey Hill cookie dough flavor, but I also enjoy Chocolate Chip Mint too.

Butter pecan for me, or salted caramel. I will eat any kind of ice cream though. Often we just buy a giant tub of vanilla and dress it up however we please.

I eat ice cream a lot in the summer. I kind of prefer it on a stick though like dreamsicles, yasso frozen yogurt etc. That in a bowl just has so many calories.Baskin Robbins Pecan Praline is my absolute favorite and my local grocery had it on sale this week. I also love a peanut butter twirl ice cream.
