Meals - 7/31/22

Ushering out the month of July. Where did it go? Tomorrow is my eye doctor's appointment. This one is just for a Field of Vision test; and I hate it. Fortunately it will be over in about 15 minutes. It's going to be 95 degrees on Wednesday (35 Celsius); so I don't know how much we will get done this week. We may hibernate inside with the AC. Hubs should be calling the doctor today to update him on his wrist pain after having additional injections.
Breakfast - No breakfast
Lunch - Lentil soup
Snack - Banana walnut muffin
Dinner - A plum

The heat can definitely put a damper on outside activities, especially projects. But it is what it is, I suppose, and things must still be done.
On Sunday the fam all went out to eat at the Blue Parrot on St. George Island. I had grilled grouper and it was delicious.
We ate there last year as well when we were staying in Cape San Blas near Port St. Joe.

It's cooling off tomorrow, so there should be no excuses for getting things done! My husband is the world's worst procrastinator. I hate it!

@porwest Hubs went out with the electricians here and got his E-check, license plate stickers AND renewed his driver's license BEFORE his birthday. I am shocked and amazed.

@LindaOHio lol. I am glad to not hold a #1 position in this area, although I can put things off rather well. My wife hates it too. lol

@LindaOHio No, yesterday it was a very pleasant day and this morning it was nice and cool. This afternoon is warmer, but not as bad as the past week.

Its' already the second of august here and soon we will start hearing Christmas songs over the radio and the malls. That happens the first day of September.

I know we will get hot weather but as for places like Dallas or Houston I have no clue. Dallas is at least 600 miles east of me and Houston is at least 700 miles southeast of me. I've been in Ft Worth decades ago but I've never been to Houston

Looks like we're heading into a heat wave here this week so I'll be hibernating in the a/c also. Today we have rain so I'm hoping it helps. We really need the rain.
