It's Just Too Hot To Do Anything

Happy Wednesday! it's another hot day here today so I'm definitely not going out and will enjoy an inside day in the a/c. We've already been getting alerts that tomorrow will be oppressive 
This morning I stripped my bed, threw everything in the wash and will just put it all back on my bed when it's dry.
I finished my book (the 6:20 Man by David Baldacci) and it was a page turner. Filled with mystery and intrigue and it wasn't until the end of the book that the plot was revealed. Until then the whole book had you guessing.
This book would make a perfect mini series for Netflix or even a movie. That would be awesome and it would be interesting to see who they would pick for the main characters.
Now it's time to pick a new book to read. I think I'll pick something a little more lighthearted
No problem figuring out dinner tonight. We have some leftover grilled chicken so that will go perfectly on a salad. A neighbor gave us some garden tomatoes and a cucumber so I'm already looking forward to dinner tonight.

All this extreme heat does make us tired. I feel the same way. Even the dog doesnt want to go out

Yup! 101F at 12:45 pm and may reach higher than that before 3 pm... But, we're supposed to get thunderstorms late this afternoon/this evening through tomorrow. I'm really hoping that's correct, for a change. You know how weather people are.

I loved one series I read by David Baldacci but hated the one book I read in another series so now I’m unsure of him.
On the way to the hospital and last night before bed I was able to read a bit. Im still on Origin by Dan Brown. I started probably 3 months ago or more.

@Marilynda1225 we were able to bring her home yesterday and she was much happier. Today she is a little more cranky but that’s okay and I think it’s probably expected she will have up and down days for awhile until the healing is further progressed.

I shouldn't complain as you have it worse than I do with the heat. We just have to hang on a little longer and then the fall weather will be here

I do feel the same. It's been 2 days already that we're not experiencing rains here. So, it's totally hot and I'm obliged to turn on the AC. And expect my electricity bill will go high. Hope not.

I completed an assignment today. Other than that, just had my early morning walk and afternoon nap. According to the forecast, we may have stormy weather in the next 2-3 days.

I had to lower my a/c so that it would be cooler and have a fan going to circulate. I don't even want to open the door and the dog doesn't even want to go out

I think I read something by him a long long time ago. I love a book that is a page turner and can enjoy it till the very end and then at the end know what is going on. Where do you get your books from? I like to go out in the morning and be inside in the afternoon. It can get hot in the morning or it cannot. I do not mind walking around with the sun beating down on me but if it is too hot then I really do not like being out in it. My day is almost over and it is Thursday. I ope yu find a good book to read since you finished the other one.
