Are you glad it's Friday?

I had another busy week and am actually glad it's Friday. Yesterday afternoon I was able to contact my secondary money manager and get some bucks invested in some conservative bonds that will give me a "decent" yield (way more than I'll make on MyLot--heh). I also got to interact with Jackie, my language-delayed friend who had been out for a few days due to green snot. I even took a short swim in the afternoon. Today, I will pay rent when I get home. I just sent myself a reminder. As the sun sets, I will rest. I will become Jewish and call it Shabbat...the Sabbath. Heh. Sunday I will become Christian and rest again. Are you glad it's Friday?

@TheHorse As a kid I liked because I knew that on Saturday we only had school in the morning and only for 3 hours and Dad would have brought my brother and I to the pastry shop to buy a cake to serve on Sunday.

Heh. It's in our "viscera." As a kid, I liked Friday because I knew I'd get to see the pretty girl I liked at school. But I also knew that there would be Saturday cartoons on TV the next morning.

Thanks for the update. I already took my August shower; so I won't be doing that this weekend. (ha, ha) I doubt we will get any errands done this weekend; but we have so many that I'm stressing out! Hubs likes to wait until the last minute.

Sometimes I "just do it." Yesterday (Friday) I felt lazy, but deposited my pay check. Today, I hope to visit the Dollar Tree. I need dental floss and dish soap.

I was glad to see Friday, and did the minimum I could get away with. Today is Saturday. I do not plan to go anywhere today, unless it is with hubby to treatment.

Every day is the same for me because I no longer work and just stay at home with my grandkids. But my family members are always saying: "Thank, God it's Friday." I do understand this feeling of relief because I worked before as well, and I can't wait for Friday to come.

Weather and other stuff has made the last week or two very weird. So it isn't even a big deal that it is Friday. I will spend the afternoon writing and dealing with laundry and phone calls.

Yes, I do wait for Fridays because I have my weekly off on Saturday and Sunday. So it is rest time for me for two days and then back to the daily grind on Mondays.
