Today is Saturday. I did not set an alarm and my plan was to sleep in. That did not happen. As usual I was awake at 5 a.m. It does not matter that I stayed up a little late last night. My mind and body are so accustomed to getting up at 5:00 that I did it anyway. I napped some yesterday and will again today. It is the best thing to do in the heat.

I don't sleep well when things are hectic around here. This week has been a hard one, I need some sleep and peace, but it's not going to happen right now, son is getting a bit better but we aren't there yet, so I march onward...a mom has to do what a mom has to do.. Napping is the best thing to do in this heat. You said it. I have known many people who get up about the same time every day no matter what. I am a night person and so my sleep pattern is different. I might wake up at 8a. one morning and not until 10 or 11a. the next. Odd isn't it?
