Yesterday I wrote a post about searching for yarn online and that I ordered some. What I forgot to mention and say was a big "Thank You" to all myLotters because I paid for my yarn with my myLot money in my PayPal account.
I know we've all had discussions before about what we do with our earnings but I just let mine sit in my PayPal account until I want something.
This time I had enough (and a little left over) to get a nice supply of yarn so I have enough for a crocheting project to keep me busy. I love to crochet while I watch tv. I can't sit and just stare at the tv so keeping my hands busy and it also keeps me from snacking.
I'm excited now and hope my yarn doesn't take too long to get here. Then I'll decide what I want to make.
Meanwhile, today I've been getting stuff done around the house that I couldn't do yesterday so I'm popping on and off here as the day goes on.
It's Thursday already and another beautiful sunny day. No sign of the lawn guys and I guess it's just too dry and the grass too brown for them to come.

I can't just sit and stare at the tv. Sometimes I'll play on the phone but mostly I like to crochet

Our guys didn't show up and it was weird not waking up to the noise of the mowers. They're usually my Thurs morning alarm clock

That's a good way to spend your earnings. I do appreciate the friendships I've made here and the money is secondary

I've gotten some on Amazon in the past but their prices are high unless you can catch a good sale. I found what I was looking for at Mary Maxin online but I had to pay shipping. It was still cheaper than Amazon with free shipping

Well, after my 7am echocardiogram my driver and I had breakfast at a diner. We had the early bird special ($5.99) which was supposed to come with only 2 pieces of bacon but we both got a whole mess of it... maybe 6 or 8 slices.

Hopefully your order will keep you going until you have enough built up in your paypal account for another order.
I do that but with ordering things from your country as we are paid in USD.
I only order ever year or so, but that is good by me.

@Marilynda1225 I know that we are paid in USD, I would imagine that everyone is, but I can't say for certain. My amounts vary also, but they are usually within .75 to a dollar variance. I have to get moving this month or I will not make payout. I lost a couple of days system was upgrading and I got out of the routine.

I guess everyone is paid in USD? I really didn't give it much thought until you mentioned it. Some months I do much better than others but even so it all adds up

Hmm... and how do you know how much yarn to order if you haven't decided what you'll be making yet? 
Pretty and I are listening to the older man next door mow... It just stopped raining a little while ago so I don't understand why he's doing that. But I'm not the one who will have to replace his mower when it rusts out, either.
Pretty was supposed to mow our yard before it started raining but she said she didn't feel like it. I guess that's good enough.

Usually I have some ideas in mind but I look for yarn first and see what attractions my attention and then base my project on that. Sometimes I go for baby colors and make a baby blanket, or I have more neutral colors and make scarfs or afghans. Last winter I had a pretty grayish blue color and made my granddaughter a scarf. She's in college and walks to her classes so the scarf was perfect for those cold days.
The old guy that's mowing..is he the one with the hat? I guess with your rain your grass is still green?

It's more about friendships here than the money but the money is nice too. I'm amazed at how many friends I've made here and how often I think of people even when I'm not on the computer
. I let my mylot earnings sit in my bank account and use it. We dont have the facility to hold money in a PayPal account.

We finished a big job today with window cleaning and then went to do hungry Howie's which was long overdo. We were done by lunch time.
I had some running I've been wanting to do but waited because I had a hair appt at six pm and I didn't want to forget so I saved my running for afterwards.

I'm so glad you were able to use your MyLot earnings to get your yarn. Thank you for your interaction as well. I use my earnings when we go out to eat. We haven't paid for a dinner out in quite a few years. Nothing much going on; but next week will be busy.
