Thanks to everyone who noticed I haven't posted here for a while. I have been busy. I have two books on pub signs under commission, and I've been going to quite a few live music and cabaret shows, mostly as a spectator but sometimes as a performer too.
I saw 90's band Space, best known for the song Neighbourhood, though I think their minor hit Begin Again is my favourite and they performed that too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WI8FV237j4A
I'm at a poetry festival next month which I am really looking forward to.
I am still on hard medications and subject to daily stoma bag changes after by bowel cancer struggle in late 2020, but I am getting by OK. I sometimes turn my stomas into glove puppets to use them in my shows too to show I'm not taking my struggle too seriously - i'd crack up if I did. The photo is one of my bags with its simple smiley face.
I will look in from time to time, but regular posting may not be possible for a while.

This is my first time again after a year. It was a long break as I try to manage 2 jobs before, But now I'm all good. I am glad that you're also enjoying MyLotting here. Looking forward for your posts soon as well.

I am so glad to see you back. I remember you have been very sick after your surgery and I am glad too see that you are now taking your struggle on a better humourous note. You have been very busy, I hope to see you in myLot more often from now on.

@innertalks I have given talks in pubs and sold them there, but my main audiences are community groups and science fiction conventions - I centred the book on pubs associated with science fiction writers who drank in them

@arthurchappell I wonder if the pub signs attract science fiction writers, or if they are just interested in the Pub for the drinks. Maybe, they get some story ideas from there, though...lol...
