@marlina There is something that I love in Fall, the colors, the smell in the air, the chestnuts.

I don't think we have this saying here. Enjoy your autumn leaves when they come.

Summer was way, way too hot.

@marlina Oh, yeah, it sure was! This year I'm happy to be moving on toward winter. I normally wouldn't say that.

@marlina That's good - a sign that winter is on its way. We kinda don't have any forewarning - but I do hope the next season will be happening .

Do you see a lot of Quebec licence plates where you are?

@marlina Not this far north in the state. When I lived in south Florida, there were quite a few. More Ontario plates than Quebec plates, but still a large number of both. When I was first out of college, I ran athletics programs for a small town. One of the programs was a senior tennis league, and for most of the year participation was around 30 players. But in winter when the snowbirds arrived the league participation would swell to around 100 players, and most of that surge in participants was from visiting Canadians.

@marlina It can get pretty cold. Has been quite a handful of 4 degrees here and there (celsius).

I am not too keen on winters anymore. Love it when I was young.

@marlina We used to stay outside until we had no feeling in our toes and hands. Now I can't stand walking to the car!!!

@LindaOHio , I know the feeling. Playing outside in the snow was so much fun then. We had a skating ring right across the house.

I am glad that you love the Fall even though you don't have it in your country.

@marlina My country has it's own natural beauty and there is a lot to enjoy. Glad that I stayed for more than a decade in the US and enjoyed the autumn leaves.
