Summer is ending or maybe not?!

In de weekend I heard on the news that September will be hotter than usual but today they were saying that the temperatures will drop a lot and it won't be good to go to the beach, they were even saying that is going to rain

Rain is needed, it will be welcome and probably I can't go to the beach again this year. But I wonder how they come up with two so different weather predictions in a matter of 3 days?!

How is your weather forecast? Is it usually right? Picture of my husband and my kids, I took last week, when we went to the beach.

Predictions for my part of the US are usually not accurate. We get predictions for the largest city in our area but that city is 72 km from us and much lower in elevation. When we get rain, if that city doesn't get rain, then we're officially recorded as not getting any rain at all.

They said here that the temperature will drop in September and we "should" finally get rain. Wait and see. Lovely photo, your son is as tall as your husband.

@LadyDuck yes, is very near to Coimbra, the beach is about one hour driving from my place, we go there often

For the most part, Apple's Weather app is spot-on with it's predictions. Sometimes it's not, but for the most part it is.

@nela13 What version of iPad OS are you on? The weather app is native to iPhone and Mac has a widget. You might need to wait for iPad os 16, (coming in the next month or so) to get a weather app natively on your iPad.

Weather forecasts are not always right. We do not need any rain in my area. It’s rained almost every day for a month It rained yesterday and today We need sunshine

I dont trust the weather forecasts. They are not accurate sometimes as they are predictions only.

Nowadays the weatehr can be unpredictable and maybe they are having difficulties in making a more accurate prediction.

The weather reports are basically saying that my area will be affected by showers. So far it has been raining in towns away from Lake Charles with hot weather during the day.

How I love that picture you posted. I always love the beach! It sooths me and we knew how therapeutic nature can be. In my country Philippines, it's always hot here even if it's already rainy season. It may be hot during days till noontime and then rainy time during afternoon or evening.

Nice pic, it kind of depends on which forecast you decide to listen to I think. The one on the local news channel is pretty accurate, but I always have to take a few degrees off the temperature because it is cooler here.
