In the past the caterpillars were quite horrible to me. And a few days ago I saw this image and somewhat I found them not that creepy When you see the beautiful butterflies, don't forget they came from the caterpillars

I don't like caterpillars but I have rarely seen any of them. Also, I rarely see butterflies, just moths.

I am sure they would be in areas where butterflies reproduce but it is too hot and dry here and trees are few and far between.

Uhm... I'm glad you didn't collect these caterpillars. I believe I recognize two of them as poisonous to the touch. I can't remember if the butterflies are also poisonous, though.

I feel scared to see the caterpillars. If you touch them, usually your skin will be so itchy.
