If it is not one thing, it is another, always the same spot

Crunchy, creepy, slimy, half eaten, alive and kicking.
I am not sure which cat or cats brings in treasures, but I often find them at 5 a.m when I first get up and head for the bathroom.
Crickets, cicadas, lizards, worms, you name it.
Such an exciting life we lead here.

The kitties just want to make sure you get a good breakfast.

A lot of the things are still alive. Like the tree frog that invited himself in.

I am sure they do. I feed them, give them water, and give them treats.

Sometimes they are still alive and I send them back to the yard. A tree frog came in on its own the other day.

I think I keep the ground moist enough the creatures also have plenty to drink.

They have not brought any mice indoors. I am glad of that.

@GardenGerty Luckily Cal only brings them into the warehouse, but being an inside cat when he is at home with me, luckily there are no mice in the house...for now. lol

Yep, sure do. My kitties would be in heaven in a screen room.

This is the first year I have seen lizards. Bob says a tree frog came inside on its own one night.

Friend I wish you could have a nice single level countrified place. It would thrill your soul.

The thing is, often the creatures are alive and I send them back outside.

My little Buhund girl used to bring me one of the poor chipmunks. Since she's gone, our chipmunk population has recovered!

Seems these kitties love to share their delicacies. They don't want you to be left out.

Mine are all indoor cats but they chase the big flying cockroaches we have here and I am OK with that

Half-eaten things aren't the best things to find at that hour of the morning.

I've read that cats do that as a love they've for their humans like sharing food, although people don't eat what cats do, it's out of love, cats do that.
