Bob has been diagnosed with C. Diff. It is a bacteria that is often present, and does not really cause an infection until you have to deal with long term antibiotics. Then it is hard to get rid of. The usual cure is, you guessed it, antibiotics.
He will probably be in the hospital for several days.
I have to wear a mask, gown and gloves when I go in his room.
Sleepy now, will talk some more tomorrow.

We are back to making sure he has good yogurt cultures every day to help restore his gut. I hope he is healing. He feels much better.

Wishing Bob a quick recovery. Hope he is back home soon. I think he should take multi vitamins whenever he is taking antibiotics.

He takes multi vitamins all the time. He needs to keep eating things like yogurt and fermented foods to keep his gut healthy.

I have a friend who is always getting UTIs and going on antibiotics. I'm afraid one of these days she will end up with something resistant.

His kidneys just were struggling because of not being able to keep fluids and process all the meds he takes and clear the toxins from his infection. He will get labs this Friday that will tell us more.

He only spent three nights in the hospital, but the recovery is long. We are doing our best.

Yes I know about CDiff..they were thinking that is what I had from all the antibiotics..but I am still sick.

@GardenGerty Yes sauerkraut is awesome but now I cannot eat it because of IC also.

We are slowly pulling ahead. He also has an infection in his blood. Getting lots of treatments.
