Waiting For A Phone Call

Happy Fri-YAY everyone! it's a beautiful sunny and cool Fall day here. It got so chilly overnight that I had to get up and put a blanket on my bed. I love nights like this and I sleep so much better.
I'm having trouble with my automatic garage door as it's banging and jumping when it starts to open. It almost seems as if its going to come off the track so I went to our towns Facebook page to see the recommendations. Facebook does come in handy sometimes. I found a company that got lots of recommendations so I gave them a call and left a message.
I'm hoping they call back and we can schedule an appointment and see what the problem is.
My biggest fear is that the door is going to get stuck open and then what am I going to do????????
So my day will be waiting for the phone to ring. Normally I'm not anxious for the phone to ring but today is an exception 
While I'm playing the waiting game my day will go on as usual. There's always something to do to keep me busy
Anything exciting planned for the weekend? I don't have anything planned but sometimes no planning weekends turn out the best.

If the garage door sticks open, you could always make yourself a pallet in the garage so you can scream if someone wanders in...

That does sound like one of the wheels is off the track (not that it ever happened to me or anything

@Marilynda1225 — I’m blessed in that my garage isn’t attached to my house, so it’s not a security risk if something’s wrong with the door.

It's anyones guess at this point. All I know is I'm not going to open the door until someone comes to fix it. I'm so afraid of having it bounce off the track or get stuck open and then I'm up the creek

@FourWalls My garage is attached to the house and is filled with all sorts of stuff as well as the car. If the door got stuck open it would be a big fiasco for sure.

Lots of exciting things to look forward to here. First off is me refilling the hole that Roscoe dug on that stretch of road where I drive in and then I'll be doing a lot of keypunching. Whew, talk about exciting .... oh, forgot, will be doing a couple loads of laundry too.

Not this weekend but next weekend is the Fall Festival I always like. The weekend after that we are going to PA. I hope your guy calls.

We had an issue where our door would come to a close and then bounce back open again.
It turned out the those little electronic eyes on either side of the door down near the floor were not lined up 100%, someone probably accidently knocked on walking by.
We could hold the door down and it would stay, but it was a pain.

That's happened to me too and I had no idea something could interfere with the sensor but this seems totally different. Hopefully they'll be able to get a technician out next week. Right now I'm not opening the door at all
