How Often Do You Buy Clothes?

When I was working, I bought clothes quite often. Now, I'm semi-retired, no need to go to the office and meet with customers, I usually buy clothes when there is a big promotion, usually 2-3 times a year. Some stores are now doing promotions for the Fall and Winter season. They sell clothes which were popular last year. Two weeks later, they will sell the new collections. I don't mind that because I don't need to buy trendy clothings. I bought two long sleeve shirts, a sweater and a scarf the other day.
How often do you buy clothes?

I had not purchased any clothes in 10 years.
This last week, I went to the clearance isle in Target and bought a light dress.
I am very easy on my clothes and do not need a lot.
I wear the same thing all the time.

@Beestring Yes I remain mostly the same M.
I have so few clothes you would not believe it.
Only 2 winter outfits and for summer 4 sets of shorts and tops.
One dress I bought recently.

You must be maintaining your body in good shape. Not much weight gain or loss. I buy a few items every year for a change. Donate those I don't wear anymore.

I would say fairly frequently, I just bought some new jammies today, but I try not to buy anything unless I really need something.

Not often, actually. I wear clothes until they become rags and even when I buy clothes I usually buy most of them at thrift stores. Especially jeans. Of course, things I do not buy at thrift stores include hats, shoes, socks and tee shirts.

Not very often. Only when I really need it. I find too many clothes in my wardrobe overwhelming. I am more for minimalistic approach.

I see. Actually, I have enough clothes to wear. Just want to change a few clothes every year. I donate those I don't wear anymore.

@Beestring That's a good practice. Even I do the same. I donate some to make space for new ones from time to time. But not so frequently.

When I was younger, I used to buy a lot of clothes. But I rarely do it anymore. I'd say three times a year.

When I was working too and have steady income I buy clothes often. I look at brochures and look for fashionable clothes. When I lost my job I just buy new clothes 2 times a year

I don't buy clothes often as I'm retired now and don't need much but I did just get myself new pants and a few tops for the winter.

Last year I bought a lot of clothes because I found out I couldn't fit in some clothes anymore. I hardly shop for clothes until I can't fit in them anymore or they are worn out.

Not often. Maybe every couple of months I might by a shirt or pair of pants if I find a discount coupon and sale. Most of my clothes are many years old.

When it comes to buying clothes, I have never scheduled a purchase. I usually buy clothes if I really need clothes, now the clothes I buy are quite simple. Buying clothes with the aim of being used daily, so you won't buy clothes that are only worn for certain times.
