Well that was a bit odd. . .

I woke up in a start and looked at the alarm clock. It said 7:10. I like to leave the house at 7:25. Then I noticed the window unit air conditioner was on. I have drapes over it because it is too cold for a/c right now. I realized we must have had a power surge or something. Funny enough the a/c in the office was also on, and set at 66 F. Much colder than I ever run it. Sure enough, I have both texts and e mails alerting me of an outage about 2 a.m. and power restored about 3:30 a. m. I woke up about 4:45. Checked my computer first thing and all seems well for it. This is the first time the air conditioners have come on by themself. I had best unplug them.

That's weird that the A/C came one. Glad that all was okay.

Especially since they were both plugged into surge protectors.

Oh gosh that is weird the surge turned them off when they were off. It’s usually the opposite.

Are you sure Casper hasn't moved in with you? Or maybe his uncles?

Once the power goes off, all sorts of things start reacting. Or so it seems here.

We had some really strange stuff happen when the power went out and our generator kicked on for the very first time. When it shut off all of the electrically-powered things went wonky. I found my computer and screen on, some things were only half power, it blew the panel on our alarm system...what a mess.
