Happy Veterans Day and a huge thank you to all the vets here. A simple thank you doesn't seem enough for your service.
Happy Friday to everyone! we have a very rainy nasty day here today as the storm moves up from Florida. We have lots of rain and it's going to get windy as the day goes on. Hope everyone affected by the storm stays safe.
I don't have much planned for today. Its just the perfect day to curl up with a good book or find a good movie to enjoy on tv.
Not having the sun shining through my bedroom window this morning just made me want to stay in bed longer. I had my alarm set but considered just turning it off and going back to sleep. But, I got up and didn't give in to temptation.
I joined my daughter for my first cup of coffee before she started work.
I'm here now with my second cup of that magic bean and just letting the day unfold.
I feel extra lazy today

It was 30F at 6 am and I'm glad I don't need to go out for anything today or over the weekend. The predicted high today is 41F for my area but it's only 37F at 1 pm. But, at least it stopped snowing and the little bit of accumulation has melted off now.

@Marilynda1225 I didn't WANT to see if falling this morning, either. I was looking outside because I heard a vehicle sliding on the street in front of my house. Apparently, the rain froze on the road last night.
We're at 40F now...

Snow?? egads I'm not ready to see that white stuff yet. Our temperatures are too warm for snow (mid 60s)

I went out and did the grocery shopping this morning.
I had been looking for that lysol laundry additive and found it on the shelf today.
It will be nice to have this to presoak our fabric masks instead of the regular lysol which has such a strong scent.
I am zonked today, so am moving slowly, no nap this morning, and no major coughing spells either.
I recognized 2 minutes of silence at 11am today. It is not a huge gesture by any means, but it means alot to me.

@Marilynda1225 Its almost 5pm and I made it all day without going back to bed.
That is a first.
I am pleased.
I've always just used the regular strength lysol whenever anyone had a bug, I sure wish that they had this additive back when our son was a little boy.

I'm surprised that you felt well enough to venture out to the store. That's good to hear
I have that Lysol laundry additive and love it. I especially use it for sheets and towels

Rainy days will do that too you. We have the same basic weather. Looking forward to tomrrow when it will all be over.

Overnight is expected to see the more rain and possible thunderstorms. Tomorrow definitely looks like a better day

I come from a family of Vets so I remember them today and silently thank them for their service. Everyone i gone now
I am very happy to be able to have coffee with my daughter every morning. Her being able to work from home has lots of benefits

It's Saturday afternoon here. We had a sunny Friday. The temperature is 22C. Good for walking outside.
