I got a pleasant surprise

I had a stack of mail to open. Mostly bills or statements, and one I thought I might just not open because I "thought" it was my insurance company reminding me it is open enrollment.
When I picked it up, though, it felt heavy, or odd.
It had a "rewards" card for $50.
One of the things the plan asks us to do is to have an appointment for an assessment by one of their nurses. I chose to have mine by tele health. Not having a stranger come to my house.
I spent 45 minutes answering questions about my health and when I last saw a doctor, when I had my eyes checked, dental health, etc.
Life has been hectic, I knew I was to get a reward. I thought it would be $15.
So I was pleasantly surprised for a change. $50 is nothing to sneeze at.

Thank heavens for those rewards.
They didn't even ask if I wanted tele health stuff but like you I don't want strangers in my home. @BarBaraPrz (51819)

Congrats! That is a nice reward!
My life insurance company keeps calling and waking me up wanting to talk to me about my insurance policy. I was still asleep and asked if there was something wrong with the policy I'd chosen... The person that called me said she wasn't qualified to talk to me about it but if I could "hold" for fifteen or twenty minutes, she'd get someone who was qualified. I told her when the person who is qualified is ready THAT person could call and try to convince me to buy more life insurance, which I couldn't afford at this time, then I hung up.

That's great. Our medical insurance company offers rewards too. I received a $25 gift card for a wellness visit and a $50 gift card when I got my mammogram. How are you and Bob doing?
