42 days to go!
Time flies so fast. The season to be jolly is waving again. But we should all be happy though it is not the season of Christmas.
I went back to this mall near my previous apartment. I was surprised to see the improvement of the mall. I saw back in 2020-2021 that the cinema area was being renovated. They added food stall at the said level and was great. The surprise was the addition of Uniqlo store and the escalators going up each level and other popular stores here in the Philippines.
Can you feel the Christmas in your place? I know most of you are preparing for the Thanksgiving!

We are used to it. Maybe some Filipinos does not like it but most enjoy decorations at mall.

@jobelbojel It's a way to push people to buy. I dislike that Christmas has become only a commercial thing and many have lost the sense of this important Christian celebration.

It's way too early for stores to be decorating for Christmas! I wish there was a law that they can't decorate for a holiday until the month that holiday actually happens in...
I ignore holiday decorations. They just want my money and I'm not letting them have it.
I hope you're having a good day, Bojel.

It's not too early for most of us here. If no Christmas songs in September, we are already late for the holiday vibe. Lol
I might not put up our tree here to save on electricity and decors.
I am doing good.

Not yet really here much, but then again I am not going out right now.
I will put my own tree up here in this place a small one.

I am planning not to put up the tree here. Will just enjoy the decors in the malls and the neighbors.

@RebeccasFarm, cute Christmas tree but gorgeously looking very appealing to the eyes.

I hope we have Thanksgiving here too. But I think we also have our version of Thanksgiving in November and we cook ginatan with pinipig and there are games for children in the chapel here. Staff working in Puregold wears Santa hat now

I am not sure if we have a concrete date for our Thanksgiving. In Catholic or even other church, there is always Thanksgiving mass or service.

@jobelbojel, what about your mom or sisters are they not the one in charge for decorating?

@jobelbojel Next Sunday is the 1st Advent and I should decorate a bit. I have to put the Advents wreath with candles on the table. I might bake cookies, too.

Most malls start the decors in September. And most radio stations play Christmas songs in September too.
