Very Busy Afternoon On The Phone

Been on the phone off and on a large part of the afternoon today. Working on insurance for my cousin again. I thought I had it all figured out for her. Then she remembered two more doctors and medicines to add to the formulary.
She called me today to apologize. She forgot two of her medicines and neither are covered under the plan I recommended to her. One of the two doctors she forgot is not covered under the plan. Not sure what she will do. She may have to take the plan and just pay a higher co-pay for one of her doctors.
So much to look at with insurance these days. But I am glad she allowed me to help her. I used to do things like this for my Dad. I think of him a lot lately in the middle of this process. I did almost everything for him and was over 500 miles away. I sure miss those days.
My cousin has recently moved. I talked about it the other day. Her cat, Li'l Dude, went missing. She found him behind the coffee pot. It was a cute photo she sent me. Made me smile. So happy they are all together again. Her dog, Presley is enjoying the new place too.
Enjoyed the sunshine earlier. Still cold but we made it to 45 F today. Made for a nice day. The highs will be in the 40s the rest of the week.

That is a cute picture, I think that the kitty likes her coffee.
You are so kind to help your cousin out as you are, I am sure that she feels the blessings as it sounds like a very complicated matter.
We had another cold day today, but staying inside it did not affect me.

It was so funny to see him peeking around. She has so much to get sorted out.
She is very appreciative always. And has nobody else to help her.
Stayed inside here too except for changing the water in the bird bath and gave them more peanuts.

sweet kitty, jest checkin' out the new 'bode :) glad yer cousin's yerself to help muddle through the insurance nightmare. sadly none 'f my docs 'ccept any health insurance plans 'vailable where i hang my hat. so, i jest don't see any, aint fer some years. thanks to the 'health 'xchange' my option 'tis to find new specialists a minimum 'f 530 miles round trip...
would'a loved to've 'd yer weather today. 'n the words 'f pooh, 'twas blustery. bitter cold 'n high winds with a bit 'f snow tossed 'nto the mix.

Yes, her little cat was checking to things for sure. That is sad about your doctors. It is crazy that any of us have to boggle through this mess every year.

@CarolDM most kind 'f ya, ms. carol. i fear i've been hidin' out from the universe best i could. long story i shan't bore ya with.
'tis not the doc's, per se. 'tis new mexico's crappy insurance plans 'n limited options. seems this side 'f the state 'tis been fergotten.
gonna be chilly here fer a bit, a roller-coaster ride which i dislike. 'tis natures way though, so 'ccept such's given. big hugs 'n love ~ hope all 'tis well'n yer neck 'f the woods.

You are always so helpful above and beyond . . . I'm sure your cousin greatly appreciates it. I lost my father very recently and I've been trying to help my mother however I can (that's why you're not seeing me as much here these days). Glad your cousin found Li'l Dude . . . I know coffee helps people but funny how it helped the cat

I'm glad that you are able to help your cousin. Insurance can be confusing. That's a really cute photo. Hubs just took the trash out. He says it's freezing. Time to hibernate!!!
