Well, did those of you in Michigan and New York survive that horrible s**w storm? I hope you are all safe and warm. We ended up with a total of about 2 inches. The winds switched direction; and Michigan got the brunt of the lake-effect s**w. Sorry guys!
Someone wrote that they watched the final Elton John concert from Dodgers Stadium on their widescreen TV. Did they carry the concert on TV and I missed it??? Does anyone know? I wanted to see him when he was in Cleveland; but the logistics of taking me in a wheelchair were just too difficult.
Watched the Cleveland Browns lose again to the Buffalo Bills in the Detroit stadium. The Buffalo stadium was too full of s**w to play there. It's going to take them forever to clear that venue out!!!
Are those of you that celebrate Thanksgiving all ready for that day? We are picking up our turkey dinner from Giant Eagle on Wednesday. It won't be as good as if we made it from scratch; but it's better than no turkey at all!!!
I see we have a problem today. Tried to post this Discussion with a picture of Red Lobster; but I received a "runtime error" message. Apparently posting pix is going to be a problem for the time being. UPDATE: Yay! It's fixed!!!
Breakfast - Mixed berry cereal bar
Lunch - Leftovers from Red Lobster - Cheddar Bay Biscuit, clam strips, bay scallops, mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts - YUM!
Dessert/Snack - Donut and decaf coffee
Dinner - Mixed berry cereal bar

I know of a couple people that prefer chicken to turkey. Also, my mother always made chicken on Thanksgiving.

Glad picture problem solved! I don't know about Elton John concert. Tuna salad with celery sticks. Dinner, rice cakes. Slice of cheesecake. I'm getting ready for Thanksgiving. Got my hamburger, gravy, can mushrooms and corn, some fresh veggies. Ate up cheesecake, si Walmart has some lie sugar cream filled horns, I'm planning to get for dessert. Extra orange juice and free Medicare home test kits, si far. I'll window shop a bit. Missed Safeway $5 Friday, weather wasn't permitting.

Me too! But it is a heavy dessert. This Thanksgiving I got Walmart's little pies, prices up to $1 now. Alas, cream filled horns, were non existent.

Guess the snow is bad this year. So glad we only had minor snow a time or two so far.
I see there is an issue with photos too, tried to put a photo of Eli with my latest post and saw the error
Your breakfast and dessert sound good.
Guess we are having turkey on Wednesday (when we are celebrating this year) afterall. Was looking forward to the noodles...

@LindaOHio I wasn't on when it was fixed, lol....but I put the photo in my latest post.
I am just very disappointed. Maybe I will make it myself...have the recipe just don't have flour at home.

I'm glad you are well after that. It's also colder here but I like this weather more than summer. My breakfast would be a banana shake and bread.
Lunch would be pork, potatoes, and veggies with rice.
Dinner would be rice again, and I plan to reheat the fried fish on my ref.

When I posted earlier I had that runtime error also.
Eventually I got it to load.
Yesterday we had brunch, I had 2 pieces of French toast.
I made salmon filets and hollandaise sauce for supper as well as asparagus and riced cauliflower and mashed potatoes.

Pretty and I already had our Thanksgiving dinner yesterday. I cooked smoked turkey, mashed potatoes and fried green beans. We bought a pecan pie for dessert. It was all delicious. (I'm already planning on what to make with the leftover smoked turkey.)

I had fries with a cheese and spinach omelet. I hope you'll have a very Happy Thanksgiving. I used to love making turkey and all the fixings when mom was alive in NYC and we had our Latvian neighbors to celebrate. In Latvia of course, there was no Thanksgiving, and now that I am alone I no longer celebrate, just remember and watch the old Thanksgiving Day parades that mom and I used to watch together,
