24 November - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today was a busy and good day. I have much to be thankful for. I was up at 2:30 this morning and got a lot done. Let me start with my exercise stats. Bike - 5 Miles -22:57 minutes - my best time yet. All the walking I did yesterday while shopping helped. My average speed was 13.1 mph. I'm thankful for getting the food cooked and the turkey in the oven by 10:30 and out of the oven by 1:45. Everything turned out perfect. In fact, I brought the leftovers home and left the dishes there for them instead of the other way around. It is agreed, I'll be doing Christmas here. I'm not going anywhere. I'm thankful for good company for Thanksgiving. It was my son, his girlfriend, her father, mother and her boyfriend, an aunt, and me. They raved about my cooking. Which is why the dishes stayed there and I only brought home leftovers. I'm thankful I ran the dishwasher before I left for her apartment. It was a very good afternoon. I'm thankful for my son. On the way home, he turned on a favorite Christmas program his father introduced to us when they were little called Cinnamon Bear. It's a fun radio program you can find on YouTube.
