Cousin Back In ER ~ Presley Waits

My cousin (heart attack in October) is back in the Emergency room today with shoulder and arm pain. Her blood pressure is very low. EKG is abnormal. Waiting on further test results. She emailed this photo of her dog Presley earlier today. I am always in awe of her beautiful blue eyes. What a sweet dog she has. And her cat, Li'l Dude is a sweetie too. She explained her shoulder and arm pain since last night, along with nausea and other symptoms. She asked my opinion and I said what I always do, if in doubt, have her Dad drive her to the ER. I am hoping for better news soon and trying to stay positive for her. She is waiting on her Cardiologist to come see her now. They might do an Angiogram, depending on the test results. Hoping she has no heart blockages. All I can do is wait and worry at this point. I am several hundred miles away. So I wait. Will update you when I have more news, soon I hope.

It so wonderful to have the modern conveniences of the internet. It allows relatives and non-relatives to keep in touch across the miles. I hope that your cousin's doctor is able to give her something to relieve her pain and diagnose her and discharge her back home again, Presley will be so relived.

You are so right about that. Her mother is terribly worried. Being blind, I just cannot imagine. I hope she gets good news soon. She is suppose to start her Cardiac Rehab soon as well. That will help her too. They will have her on a treadmill, walking, and will start a personal regimen just for her. Presley is such a sweet dog.

The arm pain is a warning sign, things aren't OK with her heart. Only the doctors will know what should be done. Presley is adorable!

I'm terribly sad to hear that. I'm hoping she'll be okay and won't require the operation. I'm curious how old she is. A heart condition is extremely concerning because it can appear anywhere, anytime.

@CarolDM I see I guess it was her donating of her kidney that affected her health. Maybe her body was not able to adjust to one kid

I have been so worried about her. She is a diabetic and also donated one kidney, so lots of health issues. She is only 58. This all has happened after donated a kidney sadly. Here is a link to the original post when she had her heart attack.

Not muscle pain. She is having a CT now for a possible blood clot. Still getting messages from the nurse on her progress.

I am waiting, now for hours, to hear how she is. The ER can cause so much waiting on weekends especially. But it is what it is. Presley is a sweetie. And she was a rescue.

I am really sorry four your cousin and you gave her the right advice. Pain in her arm and shoulder is not a good signal, better to go to the hospital. I hope she will be back home soon and it's nothing to worry about. Her dog Presley is beautiful.

I’m sorry she’s at the hospital, but I’m glad she went. I’m surprised she’d wait after having one heart attack. I know it’s a pain to be in the ER, but better safe than sorry. I hope she’s okay. And yes, that puppy has gorgeous eyes.
