Another Rainy Day

I finally began today to get ready for Christmas. I cleared the counter to make room for my little Christmas tree. I’ll take it and ornaments from the deck closet tomorrow.
It’s rained so much I haven’t left my apartment in the last couple of days. I carried my umbrella and walked to the mailbox yesterday but that was it for going out.
I’ve read The Dogs of Babel and worked Sudokus. I surprised myself by completing three or four. I also made a pineapple pie. I’ve done a little cleaning, nothing major.
How many of you guys have been in due to bad weather?

We have a 30% chance of snow tonight and a 100% chance of rain/snow tomorrow.
I took it easy most of today - periodically writing, then posting an article on Substack. Then, after dark, I walked to the grocery store and picked up a few groceries.

It’s rained steadily here for several days. I’ve walked to the .mailbox under an umbrella . I did have a doctors appointments but I’m not counting that. I’ve enjoyed Sudokus. I hadn’t worked those in awhile. Hope you don’t get snow. That’s worse than rain.

@Chellezhere Ice is the real problem. When we have ice traffic will be at a stand still.

@RubyHawk we did get some snow. Snow is fine, and so is rain. The biggest problem is ice.

As of two hours ago a lot of rain coming from Texas has crossed into southwest Louisiana and given my region a decent amount of rain that will run through the evening until Sunday morning.

We have been getting snow here for days. Will have it for at least another three days. Sure are getting a lot this year.

@RubyHawk ......That's how it is usually here. I don't care for heavy snow. If I was healthy and was able to get about in it I would enjoy it.l

I'm always in anyway because I can't get around much. Is that a picture of your tree? Sudokus make me crazy. I stick with word games. Have a great day. Pineapple pie sounds yummy.

We have a tropical depression now but it's not affecting our region directly it's cloudy and the sky is dark. Perhaps it would rain later in the afternoon.
It's good you're able to put up your Christmas decor, and that pineapple pie is appealing. Now I'm hungry. Have fun for the rest of the day.

It's been beautiful, but warm, the past week here in my part of Florida. I wish it were colder, but I really can't complain about how nice it's been. Today was really cloudy and overcast, but so far no rain.

@RubyHawk We’re off to a sunny start to the day here in north Florida, with slightly chilly temperatures. I think our high today will be somewhere in the mid 70s.
