Finally Put Up My Little Tree

I put off putting up my tiny tree because it was stored in the deck closet and I knew I’d have to dig to find the tree and decorations. But yesterday I did it. The trees so small it looks easy to decorate but the ornaments are small and it’s difficult to hang them-on the tree.
Anyway I got my little tree up and decorated. I used the same ornaments as last year but the tree looks completely different. I had a picture of my last year’s Christmas tree on a discussion of a couple of days ago. It’s amazing how different the tree looks, even though it’s the same tree and same ornaments.

I donated the tree and the ornaments last year and have no plans to put up one
Though small your tree looks nice.

No because if my relatives put up a Christmas tree, the six cats will knock it down during their playtime chasing each other around the home.

I love your little tree Ruby! And I really like the chubby little snowman on the left, and the tall, skinny one in the background. Very well decorated.
I put my up my tree (a real one) the weekend after Thanksgiving. I want to stretch the Christmas season as much as I can, since it's one of my favorite times of the year.

@RubyHawk I probably won’t take down my Christmas tree until sometime in mid to late January, mostly do to laziness, but also because I don’t want to let go of the holiday so quickly.

@moffittjc That’s good. Leave your tree as long as you want. I used to leave mine up longer but now I have little space so I’ll take it down a day or so after Christmas and pack it away until next year.

That’s a good way to stretch out the Christmas season? Start early and hang on as long as possible. I used to like green cedar trees for Christmas but most now are fir trees. I like the smell of cedar. I like the chubby snowman too. Have a merry Christmas.

My daughter has too but I didn't do one in my room this year, I didn't even do Christmas cards. Just wasn't feeling it. I will have to get my little fiber optic one from my house for next year lol

@RubyHawk I spent 2 nights and I visit the house once in a while. Now that Danny is staying there I don't need to. My daughter wants me to stay here and I am happy but that still is the home I shared with Al for 50 years. I don't want or need to sell it. I do need to decide what to do about the Florida house. I'm not capable of making decisions these days. No rush I guess. I'm still trying to get through all the probate paperwork.

@BelleStarr It's best to take your time . I know I'm not capable of making any major decisions. I'm still in the same apartment and trying to recover. Some days I feel Like I'm making progress and the next day I don't. It just takes time.

Yes, and it's much smaller than yours. Just a crocheted tree from my Aunt, long ago made.
