Fast Food Late at Night

We have a Taco Bell right across our side street. They have heavy runs of customers several times a day. They have one at about 12:30a. It used to be that we would have all manner of people partying in the parking lot and being loud and even fighting. I guess my calls to the police did the trick because it has really cut down this last year. Of course with COVID that may have helped too. They no longer have their lounge open to customers. It's drive-thru or nothing.
I don't know how people can get junk food so late at night before bed. I'd be up running to the bathroom all night. I can't stomach Taco Bell anyway. Tastes like dog food smells. Ugh!
Do you like Taco Bell? I like Wendy's which we have one of up the street ways. I'd rather have a baked potato, some chili, and a frosty.

@LadyDuck ........Oh, yes! Olive Garden is awful. I had a friend describe it as being like the food you get on a plane.

@celticeagle - I had good Mexican food in Mexico and the authentic food is always delicious compared to the imitation food you find outside the country of origin. Just like the horrible fake Italian at Olive Garden.

I do like Taco Bell, although it is never a "first choice" for me. Rather, it is a place I have to sort of be in the mood for. It is definitely a place that has strong appeal, but sometimes it's strongest appeal are the younger crowd, AND because they are open so late and their food is the perfect "after a night out drinking" food, it can attract some unruly people sometimes.
It DOES depend on the location, though. And I have never experienced any problems in a Taco Bell or its parking lots.

I think Taco Bell tastes like dog food. I do enjoy Mexican but we have other restaurants locally that are better than any of our fast food spots.
We live just across a side street from TB and used to be really a party place on the weekends. Thank goodness that has changed and no longer allowed.

@celticeagle I have heard some people say that. How many people have actually eaten dog food to make that comparison? lol. Either way, you don't like Taco Bell. Nuff said. It is what it is. I hope the situation is at least addressed.

Pretty likes Taco Bell. I don't... But we almost never went there before Covid anyway. Since Covid, nothing here stays open past 11 pm and opens back up around 7 am. We'd have to drive 45 miles to get fast food late at night.

@celticeagle Between us and Springfield, Mo, are a bunch of small towns but nothing stays open until you get to Springfield... I don't like driving that far even for doctor appointments. I sure won't drive that far for fast food!

@DaddyEvil ........That would be a good way to deter from eating too much fast food. I have gotten myself and the kids into a bad habit of eating out a lot.

I've never been to Taco Bell. Lots of people like Taco Bell after a night of drinking.

I think that is where their popularity lies.

No Taco Bell here. What we have here is Seven/11 store.

A 7/11 is ok if you don't mind paying 3x more than the regular price for an item. But, after I pay the delivery fee I am paying near that myself..

I pretty much really, really dislike fast food. So much money for such bad-for-me food...it's just not worth it, and it usually has made me sick in the past, so no...I got food poisoning once from a Taco Bell back in 1990. I was on a business trip and in a hurry, what a terrible mistake that was. I landed in the hospital out of town for 2 days. So, so sick. So Taco Bell and I are not friends!
