Tornado Watch And Severe Thunderstorms

Woke up to rain through the night. Now the rain is pouring. The wind is blowing the trees back and forth. Tornado watch until 5:00 pm. Thunder, lightning and buckets of rain are pouring down. Schools were just let out as well.
I hope everyone will stay safe. The temperatures are still up in the 60's which makes a good environment for a tornado. But I am hoping for the best. Staying home today thank goodness.
Photo is from the local weather station in Nashville. More severe storms will arrive again after midnight tonight.

Hope you don't get a tornado there Carol and that the weather doesn't get too bad. We have heavy rain but not much wind.

@CarolDM That is true . . . I guess I don't "think" about that because it's usually warm out here at this time and crazy cold everywhere else. Right - don't want that kind of warmth to feed the storms. I hope it all passes by and all stay safe.

Oh my gosh, this is terrible weather you are threatened by! Hopefully your power won't go out, so you can receive the updates on TV.

Yes please stay safe. We also have low pressure area outside of the Philippines. According to the news, there is a possibility that it won't affect us.

We had tornado warnings in western Kentucky….right near where there December 10 2021 storms hit. 
Haven’t heard of any damage, though. All we’ve had is rain, rain, rain, rain, and more rain. I’m staying home because of all the flash flood warnings and high-water rescues they’ve had in town today.

We had storms yesterday afternoon with lots of thunder, lightning and hail and then lots of rain... I can see some smaller limbs down in my back yard from the hail but haven't gone outside to check on anything.
I hope you don't have damage from the storms and the tornados pass you by. Take care.

We are having the same weather today/tonight in North GA but the tornado watch was until 9:00 pm. I went grocery shopping and got caught in a terrible rainstorm on the way out of the store.Yuck.
