Friday Morning Brief

I slept in. No surprise there since I didn't get to bed until 10:30 last night. I was still up shortly after 4:30 though. I already have the laundry done. I only need to fold it and put it away. I also have my first round of steps done through the hallway. So, it isn't a lost day for sleeping in. I also have my Bible study and games done for the moment.
The weather won't get out of the 20s F today. That's -6 Celcius in case you're wondering how cold that is. It feels great! I opened a door on my walk around to check if I could see deer this morning where they are normally found early in the morning. No deer. However, I felt how cold it is out there.
Today begins dryer weather for us. So my hope to get to the pool next week is in place. With snow and slippery roads this week, it was impossible to start out the new year in the pool as I hoped.
With the laundry finished, I have no other plans for today other than the exercise class at 8:30. I'll also get down there shortly and ride the bike. Or I might wait until after exercise class as I'm charging the phone. Right now it's only at 45%. I will also work on Love's Illusion. I had the chapter almost finished when my son showed up last night.

You really have a day fullfilled. My day is to be finished, I'll make the children sleep then do a little reading and sleep. Tomorrow we the whole family re going to another city. Need to get up early tomorrow.

I'm having a slow morning for sure. I'm glad you have access to an exercise bike. I am grateful that its rainy here and not snowy so I was able to go to the pool twice this week. I'm working on making it a habit that I exercise in that pool twice a week. No excuses.

That's great! I'll be happy to get back to the pool. The weather can really make it impossible on some days, even in a no-excuse state of mind.
I'm giving myself a no-excuse attitude where that bike is concerned. I'm doing 5 miles a day on it. I noticed when I got on it the first time this year, I could up the resistance bar from two to three bars. It made me feel good and I'm still getting the same amount of time for five miles.

It is just starting here. Question, why do you get up in the middle of the night? Under no stretch would I consider 4:30 AM to be getting up late. Have a great day.

really very tiring day. My day is formed every morning by starting to cook breakfast for my husband. taking care of 2 young daughters. it's really tiring.
