Fortunately we only received a couple of inches of s**w. An additional 3-6" was forecast; but we just received about an extra inch. Next week it should all melt. Do you have any of that white stuff in your section of the world?
I'm still struggling with knee pain. It looks like this time around it's not going to go away.
65 days until spring!
Breakfast - Fruit and grain cereal bar
Lunch - Chicken corn chowder
Dessert/Snack - Lemon muffin
Dinner - Corn dog and potato salad
What did you eat yesterday?

The temp reached 47F yesterday and the rest of the precipitation melted off, thank goodness. The temps are supposed to be in the mid to upper 50s all week with a chance of rain every day this week...
I had a cup of black grapes and some steamed broccoli for breakfast yesterday, a sausage, egg and cheese croissant for lunch and some beef taquitos for supper last night.
We only got out of the house yesterday long enough to pick up prescriptions and do some grocery shopping. We have three doctor appointments this week...
I hope you feel better soon and try to have a good day.

No snow here and it better stay that way. 'Nuff said. lol
We had our Christmas celebration with the fam which we were hosting yesterday. As planned, my wife made 8 pounds of her "famous" meatloaf. My sister made a tater tot cassrole and a really good artichoke tossed salad. We had some other stuff too. All of it was superb.

Cool! I hope you had a good time. What's your wife's secret? Hubs has problems with the meatloaf falling apart...or did we already discuss this?

@LindaOHio I really don't know, because I cook and she generally doesn't, and I can't make a meatloaf stay together either. But hers does. I can't figure it out. lol

I'm so glad you have a heater. Dare I ask about Meals on Wheels and Food Stamps, or should I quit asking?

@LindaOHio hey, I told you my interview is set for February 2. After I will be able to let you know what they said. This cold weather has made me more hungry I had a big and delicious breakfast today of fried French fries with cut up kielbasa and onions and sunny side up eggs all fried in the same pan,

@DianneN Hmmmm. The pain is much less. Maybe it was a false alarm? It still hurts; but it's a tolerable pain.

I'm afraid that knee will have to be replaced. I wish it was a hip instead of a knee! The knee surgery is much more painful and requires a lot more physical therapy.

We still have half of January and February to go. They can be brutal months. I hope they stay mild!

@LindaOHio Yeah the worst seem to be those, March can be pretty bad here sometimes lol. January has been pretty nice though. Yeah we got rain and then that froze...but melted the next day.

It is cold in here as well but I can imagine not as cold as were you are. Since we do not have snows in our place just cold breeze coming from the Northern countries blows to us and we enjoy and welcome this as this only happens these few months when winter is brewing in your place.

I've done this for a couple of years. I hate snow so I write it like it's a bad word. Some others now do it too. It's meant to be a joke.
