16 January - What I'm Thankful for Today

Have you ever had one of those days when you're so busy you don't get anything done? I had that kind of day today.
I'm thankful for the good workout I had with the exercise group this morning. Until I finished the workout, I thought I could do the bike too. Uh - NO!
I'm thankful for the steps I've gotten so far today. I've done five circuits of the hallway so far today. I don't have all my steps, but with the potluck in a couple of hours, I'll easily get all my steps.
I'm thankful I remembered to go to the ADRC for the book club. I gave out the books I had and collected the money for them, and got another order for Legacy and got paid for it before I left the center. I also ordered it as soon as I got home.
I'm thankful I remembered to type up the birthday list for the residents here for a friend who lost her list.
I'm thankful I remembered to check theater times for Avatar tomorrow. I'm going with a friend tomorrow, the early showing. We're looking forward to it.
I'm thankful I have crackers for the potluck today. It's a soup potluck and as my rib won't allow me to carry a full crockpot, I have crackers that go well with soup.
That's my day. As you can see, I've had almost no time to sit here and do anything. I'm going to get the notifications worked on and hopefully finish before I need to leave for the potluck in a couple of hours. I hoped to work on a book, but that didn't happen either.

It sounds like you have a very full and rich day today.
I hope that you have a wonderful time at the potluck.
I have had a busy but positive day.
I am most thankful for being able to shadow someone in the other department at work that I was considering going to.
I have an interview later this week for that department, and thanks to the shadowing session, I believe that I will decline and respectfully decline the invitation to the interview when I start work tomorrow.
It is better to look before you leap, and I have done just that.

Sounds like for that kind of day you got quite a bit done. I hope to see Avatar when it drops on an app, hopefully, Netflix.
I am thankful for the energy I seem to be feeling the last few weeks.

Decent weather for going out. Which is pretty good in my opinion. Getting things we were hoping to find. Scored myself some good deals which makes everything worth it if you ask me.

Your amaryllis is beautiful. so glad your pain is better. Sounds like a really busy day for you. I went this morning to get my prolia injection so I'm happy to have that over with. They told me I might feel ackey and unwell for a few days, but it hasn't set in yet.

I am thankful that a handyman came to the home to fix an electrical problem in the living room this morning as well as the ability to share good news on this site today.

The potluck sounds good. We had homemade soup too. I am glad you have such an active place to live. I know that you enjoy the fellowship of your neighbors.
I am thankful I found a tool neither Mike nor I could find for the past couple of days. He is needing it for a quick repair.
