Zeus is a very large kitty.
He was big to begin with, and my sister over does it with the treats for the pets.
So far it is not very peaceful with Bitty here.
We locked her in our bedroom with us last night, but periodically Zeus would come to the door and yowl.
Poor kitty. He misses his person. And his routine.
I got up and sat with him a time or two. The idea is that he is to be Bob's cat, but he seeks me out because I have food and I will answer him when he calls.

Poor guy... He'll probably "train" whichever of you pays attention to him.

He spent most of the day snuggled with Bob, under his heated throw.

He and Bitty are not getting on well, but they both managed to be on our bed last night.

Yes, he is big, and that is not totally healthy. He would like to rule the house.

It will probably take awhile for Zeus to adjust but I bet you're the one he's going to love the most

When we visited he always preferred Bob, but he recognizes that I am the Mama person.

I hope he loses some weight as this cannot be healthy for him. He does not go outside, but he has room to roam around inside more here. He and Bitty have got to draw their own boundaries.

@GardenGerty My son's girlfriends's cats are on diets. Being overweight is not good for cats or humans.

He loves Bob and I both. Animals are therapy for Bob, he has always enjoyed them.

I think he was very lonely for those two weeks while he was home alone with just the TV. The neighbors did make sure to pet him and visit with him when they fed him.

The first week she was in the hospital he was very disturbed. The neighbors, and the nieces visited with him and he was accustomed to seeing me. He is appreciating the adventures of a new house.

Not really. We are all cat lovers in our house and this was a need that came up.

Poor Zeus. I feel sorry for any pet that has to adjust to a new family. I'm sure he will get used to your routine.
