Happy ALMOST Weekend

Happy Friday Everyone! it's a cloudy start to the day but so far no rain or snow. Doubtful we'll see snow today but Sunday looks like we might see that white stuff.
With the weekend ending with a nasty weather forecast we'll do our grocery shopping tomorrow so we have everything we need just in case.
My morning has been off to a good start. I got stuff done earlier so now I'm sitting here myLotting, eating my breakfast (peanut butter on whole wheat toast and some grapes) and watching the game show The Price Is Right.
The Price Is Right has been on forever and I love playing along as the contestants try to win prizes. So far I won $10,000, a new car and lost out on a vacation 
I have a much better chance of winning at this game show than Jeopardy.
Tonight we're having an easy peay dinner. Ham steak, baked sweet potatoes and a vegetable yet to be decided. Probably broccoli as I think it would make for a very colorful plate.
That's what's happening here.

Oh, I wish you would come and visit me! I have a guest bedroom and bathroom without a leaky pipe with your name on it! Free room and board, but you can use today's winnings to buy your own plane ticket!

It's one of the few game shows that has lasted all these years. I'm hoping we don't get much bad weather this weekend but I'm prepared if we do.

I have a doctor’s appointment in an hour or so, then I’m off across the river to my sis-in-law’s birthday party. I’m such a party animal.

The forecast shows my area getting storms today and tomorrow. It was sprinkling but stopped long enough for us to make a mad dash and buy groceries this morning. (Pretty said we forgot a couple of items but they weren't important enough to go back since it started drizzling... I'm okay with that.)
I always make my doctor appointments early in the day to get them over with. The television in the waiting room is always showing The Price Is Right. I glance up from my book once in a while when the contestant makes a lot of noise. 
I laid out everything to make spaghetti for dinner tonight. We bought some cauliflower "fries" we want to try and potato bread with garlic powder and butter to round out the meal.

I was always awful at the price is right. Im too cheap to believe prices can be as much as they say . We got snow last night so school is closed today. I’m making Slow cooker mashed potatoes for dinner but I’m not sure what else yet.

Here is Saturday and for me is laundry day. I´m going to be cleaning the house and then washing the clothes. I might go and take sunbathe on the rooftop of this building and in the evening go and buy something for dinner. I haven´t planned on what to buy. it will be a spontaneous buy

Your dinner sounds yummy. I usually watch the Game Show Network several hours a day. This weekend I will be trying to get a plumber here to replace the water heater. There is 4" of water in the basement.

Gee, if only it was for real...right? Roomie used to watch Price is Right. I am not much of a games how fan, but I did enjoy Celebrity Jeopardy last night.

I like to play along when I watch the game shows also.
I sometimes amaze myself when I know the correct answers in jeopardy. Not that it happens with every single question or category for that matter.
We are having Chinese tonight, my hubby asked for it.
He is having a lousy week at work, I am not sure what is going on, but I try to make things easy for him when he gets back home again.
Our son texted us this morning, their real estate agent is taking them to a home to view in the morning tomorrow. It is very close to our place, maybe about 15 minutes away, which is so nice. It is just a neighbourhood cookie cutter house, but it has a very generous backyard and is in a wonderful community. It is a small area that has been annexed by our city in the past couple of years. The schools and parks are excellent there and it is safe. We have our fingers crossed for them, if it is meant to be then the sellers will accept their offer, if not, they will continue to look. They asked me if we would go along with them to the showing, but my hubs is working and I have a hair appointment.

We have plain white crockery as Vince says it shows off the colours of the meal better. You sound as though you're very good at The Price is Right. I'm hopeless at all of those games.
