A snake that got loose inside of a classroom was found by students three months later

Max Haupt who is a science teacher at Walden School in Louisville Kentucky located a snake that is seven years of age and female had escaped from her former home inside of the school in September 2022.
The corn snake who is being called Gummy Worm by his students was inside of the school since she was brought to the school by members of the faculty in September when classes began.
Max admitted that it was his fault that he did not close the lid tight enough when Gummy Worm was brought into the school. At least he is honest with himself in terms of facing the music of his actions.
Sixth grade student Aspen Winner who is 12 years of age found Gummy Worm wrapped around a heater inside of a heater where her teacher in his classroom after the Christmas break.
The good news is that Gummy Worm was not injured but she was thirsty when she was returned by Max to her former home with the lid being closed tighter this time.
It was a good thing that the snake is harmless since I would want to have any snake near me at all.

I am simply terrified of snakes. If I were that teacher, I would have had to move to another classroom, or quit my job until the snake was found. It might be harmless but I really, really don't like them.

I am in agreement with you that the snake that was inside the school was found. Since I am scared of snakes myself, I would not be near one either.
