End of the day, end of the month / myLot

This has been a hard month for me, losing my sister. We went and got some furniture from her place tonight. Ran out of room. One of her neighbors is holding a few things for us. I hope to go back tomorrow. My feet have been cold all afternoon, so I am warming them up right now. I have on my cozy heated house shoes. I planned ahead and had pinto beans and ham in the crock pot cooking all day. I made corn bread earlier this week. We each ate a banana. I really would have liked to have slept more this morning. Not possible. Will we swim tomorrow? I do not know, but I am going prepared. New day, new month. New endeavors.

What's the benefit of cooking in a crock pot? Does it not consume a lot cooking time and gas?

I just realized too it’s the last day of the month and tomorrow I will have to write my stats post. I made a green bean casserole in the crock pot tonight. I have never heard of heated house shoes. How do they work?

It has been a terrible time you losing your sister Heather. I know you were used to going to help her and now you are having to deal with the rest..RIP to your lovely sister.
