What are you up to on this lazy Saturday?

It's just after 9 AM here, and I am chilling at my desk. The rain has stopped, but I see cloudy skies and wet pavement. Kitty is asleep on my bed.
Saturdays are when I usually reach out to friends and "the last of the family reserves" on the phone. I also hope to get some work done on my book.
My truck continues to shift into gear, but the left headlight finally stopped working again. My fix lasted for several months. Maybe that will be my "small project" for today.
How has your Saturday been so far? Are you doing anything special?

Pretty wants to go grocery shopping later. I'll take her if the ice is off the roads. We're at 41F at 11:25 am, so that's a good possibility.

@TheHorse We got to 51F today and most of the ice is gone now. Just some patches that are under the trees and on the car due to it being in a shady spot beside the house.

We did not know that there was a Carnival parade with floaters this morning. We have been stuck half an hour behind the floaters before we could reach the border to pick up our magazines in Italy. The afternoon has been better, we stayed at home and took no riks.

Sounds like a laid back Saturday for you. Mine has been lazy I was up sick all night from the fish fry I ate last night & so I didn't get much sleep. I did nap off and on today & i've just been lazy ever since. My boyfriend is coming over soon and gonna cook dinner & hangout since I'm now finally feeling better.

My daughter will be here soon from Portland and is taking us to see a travelling company of "Legally Blonde." We watched the movie a few years ago and it was pretty good, so they made a musical out of it.
I don't expect it to be as good as the Hamilton production we saw a while back, that was the best
musical ever.

My Saturday was a relaxing day and at the same time did a business venture. Went out to inspect a property for sale for possible buyer. Also went up to a cooler place to relax and bought some vegetables for a weeklong supply.

Lots of local traveling with too many vehicles on the road.
Tiring but a bit frustrating as well
Went to meet someone.

As I've said to everyone, we are just trying to stay warm. We still don't have any heat or hot water. Fortunately the temps today were in the 40s. It's about 57 in the house. Love the picture.
