Late Start

I laid in bed about 40 minutes longer than normal. That was wonderful. Then I finally got moving. I didn't need gloves when I went to feed the cats. That was very nice. It was almost 40F then.
For today I might get out and start setting up my raised planters that I do have to work with. It's not much yet. But I will keep adding to that. So wanting to allow for that too. I plan to take Patch and let her have a good run in the old goat pen. Then we will do some leash work. In the yard I can do a lot of turning to help teach her to keep an eye on me.
Enjoying the warmer weather today and this week. Hope yours is nice too

I slept late as well. I was so tired and have really been dragging. But that bed felt so, so good. Glad you got a bit extra as well, Eva.

I just woke up at 1 pm and it's 54F outside.
I told Pretty we need to get some more potting soil and re-do the pots on the front porch to get them ready for our early garden plants. We need to look at the mint plants and see if we can move them out of the flowerbed completely. I don't like the way they keep trying to take it over.
Several of the plants in the house need new potting soil this Spring, too.

@wolfgirl569 We hit 60F today and are supposed to reach 65F tomorrow even with the rain.
I wouldn't mind the mint but it choked out one tomato plant in my flowerbed and I WANT the tomatoes! I don't care if anything else in the bed lives as long as the tomatoes do well.

We made it to 50.
I think I will have plenty of dirt as I haven't cleaned all the stalls fully yet. Goats do make great potting soil. I don't mind the mints spreading. They smell great when I mow. A lot of my houseplants need redone this year

Put the tomatoes in large pots. That's probably easier

@wolfgirl569 I moved ours close to the sidewalk by our front door in case it snows. That way my son won’t have to walk through the snow to feed them. The driveway gets plowed and the sidewalk gets shoveled. Always thinking

Sunday I went to the grocery store and spent too much. I got some garden flag clips that I ordered. My uncle has alot of garden flags and they always get lost from high winds. I'm hoping these clips will help alot. I also ordered some more "calming" vitamins to try. I'm hoping they work better than the other ones I bought. If not, I will have to try CBD.

We are so lucky that the weather is warmer this week. We have a small electric heater in my husband's room; but I got tired of watching Hunger Games (they played them for 24 hours); and I wanted to MyLot for a while. I'm under my big quilt with just my arms exposed. So far so good.
