My headlight still works as of today. What did you have for breakfast on this partially sunny Sunday?

I had a rough day getting my left headlight to work yesterday. But at least it still works today. I also added some oil and some water (to the cooling system) yesterday. So I suppose life is good right now. I talked to a couple of friends this morning. One is a fellow musician and another is a set designer for movies. Life goes on. How has your Sunday been so far? I had hash and eggs for breakfast.

I ate a turkey and American cheese on potato bread for breakfast this morning. It was pretty good. I'm glad your truck is still in working order.

@TheHorse Was I supposed to kill it first? It seemed to enjoy it just as much as I did.

@TheHorse They do! Hormel makes them, I think. They come wrapped in parchment inside the can instead of corn husks. They're not nearly as good as the real thing, but they aren't bad.

Talking to friends sounds nice! I don’t eat breakfast. I’m on my second coffee and want to prep dinner but the baby has a belly ache and has needed extras cuddles from mommy not daddy or brothers.

On Sunday I slept in until noon, so I skipped breakfast and went straight for lunch. And by lunch I mean a pot of coffee. Lol

Monday's breakfast consisted of a sweet pea and onion omelet, and a salad of arugula, radish, white onion, orange bell pepper and dill topped with sour cream. And then I had a cup of coffee with a small bowl of farmer cheese topped with Ina Garten's cranberry sauce I made last Wednesday.

@TheHorse It's really tasty and I wouldn't say that it's sour or bitter. Maybe slightly peppery as that's what arugula tastes like. But I love salads. Even for breakfast lol.

I had scrambled eggs with cheese and a piece of toast for my breakfast, and I'm on my 2nd mug of coffee. I also refereed a fight between two kids, shaved my ex's head and beard for him, and started a load of laundry. I feel like I need to go back to work so I can get some rest!

@TheHorse Fortunately his hair was clean! I probably have 2 more loads of laundry to do today, plus pack work lunches and make work breakfasts. Wait, I just noticed that someone else is making the work breakfasts in the kitchen right now, so that's one task off of my list. Yay!

I went to the grocery store and spent too much. I also got some garden flags clips I ordered. My uncle has alot of garden flags and they always get lost in high winds. I hope these clips will help. I also got some "calming" vitamins to try. I hope they work better than the ones I had bought. If not, I will try CBD.

@TheHorse garden flags are little flags that you can decorate porch and garden with. Or announce an event like a baby shower, or birthday party.

I forgot to say, when I saw the horse-shoes and saw headlight in the title, I was thinking the light that endurance riders weaer on their helmets if they're heading off in the dark. Funny where our minds lead us at times.

I'm really interested in where our minds take us. Right now I have the old song "Can't Find My Way Home" playing in my head. I realized it happened because I woke up thinking about how I miss my parents in Chicago.

@TheHorse Sometimes it's easy to find a connection between our dreams and whatever is going on in our lives. Other times, dreams don't make much sense.

I just had coffee, boiled sweet potato and cinnamon for Sunday breakfast then prepared for Sunday Mass. Lunch was plain rice, shrimps and canned mackerel. It's almost 6 in the morning now a Monday and need to be at work before 8, still thinking what to have for breakfast, definitely coffee and maybe pork and beans.
