I don't know what it was

But something fierce came down last night. It could have been freezing rain, or sleet, even hail but it made a hell of a racket and I wasn't going out there to see what it actually was.
Yesterday started with a few lazy flakes that turned into a full-blown snow storm by mid-afternoon. Then about 6pm this this this nastiness. And we're supposed to get more "freezing drizzle" today.
Currently -4°C/25°F with a predicted high of 0°C/32°F.

It's supposed to be 'nicer' today with a predicted high of 4°C/40°F and some sun.

@BarBaraPrz my husband said yesterday that’s how our weather will be today as well. I’m going shopping with my kids today so I’m glad the roads will be better and it’ll be warmer.

Freezing drizzle sounds pretty nasty. We got some of that sleet, freezng rain yesterday but today it's a little warmer and it's raining and foggy. Hope you don't have to go out in the nasty weather

I don't have to go out until next Tuesday (dr appt) It's still -4° but at least it's not drizzling.

I hope the forecast is off for your area and you get warmer than freezing today.
We had freezing mist falling last night. Everything here has a nice glaze over it. But we're supposed to get warm-ish today so it will all be gone soon.

I don't think we got a whole lot of snow, but it blew around a lot before the sleet started.
