Well, we made it to Red Lobster yesterday. We used the $10 off coupon, a gift card and some PayPal money to pay for the dinner. The prices have gone up so much that I was quite shocked. My husband had the Lobster Lover's Dream; and I couldn't believe how much it was!!! We started my birthday celebration early since this is the restaurant that I would have chosen for my birthday.
16 days until spring!
Breakfast - Nature Valley Almond Butter Biscuit
Lunch - Red Lobster - Stuffed mushrooms, Cheddar Bay Biscuits, clam strips, bay scallops, mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts
Dessert/Snack - Chocolate pie and decaf coffee
Dinner - Nature Valley Almond Butter Biscuit

I know. It's awful. I believe that some merchants are taking advantage of "inflation".

Yes! My husband's dinner was over $50! That's unusual for a casual restaurant.

@DianneN My eyes bugged out when I saw the price! But he had two lobster tails and lobster/shrimp pasta (Lobster Lover's Dream).

Chuy’s and Subway, a typical trip day. 
I know what you mean about the prices. I don’t consider McAlister’s anything more than a good fast food place (without the French fries); however, their prices have made eating there prohibitive. My salad at Chuy’s that’ll make two meals cost less than soup and a spud and tea there…and I get all the chips and salsa I can eat at Chuy’s! 
Sad, isn’t it.

I'm glad you enjoyed your meal. Last time we went, several items had been discontinued and the biscuits were a different recipe. I do love the stuffed mushrooms.

The biscuits were the usual. They are constantly changing their menu. They used to have really good crab cakes.

@LindaOHio I agree. Makes me think about whether I'll order that again. None of the restaurants here are reasonably priced now, though.

Inflation is taking its toll everywhere. There's just no escaping it, and the last inflation report showed it got worse, not better last month. It is what it is.
Keep hunkering down. It's all we can do.
For dinner I made a whole chicken in the crock pot and served it up with some gravy and on the side I made a medley of potatoes, carrots, celery and Brussels sprouts cooked in a mixture of broth and Worcestershire sauce. Very yummy stuff.

The chocolate pie sounds good! Glad you got to enjoy the meal. That does stink about prices going up though. It's so sad.

@LindaOHio This time, maybe since I go to the library 2 weeks consecutive, I started to feel lethargic. But it's okay so that I can off my binge eating from last month pms symptom.

We have one to the east and one to the west. The one to the east is about 1/2 hour away but has better food and is always less crowded.
