Noise Inside and Outside Today.

Happy Thursday Everyone! a sunny cold day here today in my little corner of the myLot world. Tomorrow we have a winter advisory which could bring snow and/or sleet to the area.
Today is day 2 of the bathroom renovation. The guys got here fairly early and I've been listening to sawing, banging and them going up and down the stairs a hundred times. They got quite a bit accomplished yesterday but I doubt they'll be finished today. Maybe tomorrow?
In addition to the inside noise, there's some sort of machinery noise going on in the neighborhood. I don't know if they've started spring clean-up but it kind of sounds like that type of noise. We did get a notice from the HOA that they will be doing tree trimming, planting new trees , etc.
So, my day is on the noisy side.
There isn't much for me to do so I'm happy to basically have the day off.

They will be here early but will have to leave if the weather starts to get bad. They have an hours trip to get home and it's always worse there than here. It will only be a minor inconvenience if they have to leave and come back to finish.

I would like to have all the noise at the same time. I'd feel fortunate. We had what seemed like unseasonably early lawn work a few weeks back that I really didn't appreciate much.

@Marilynda1225 With following through on instructions it does show that they will make good employees one day. We all have to take instructions when we start up work.

It's coming along nicely . I'm always impressed with the knowledge my son has and how meticulous he is when he's working. He has really taught his boys very well and they can all help with various jobs he does. Unfortunately none of them have any desire to make this their occupation

Sounds like a noisy two days for you. Trimming and cutting trees can be very loud and noisy.

It was noisy and cold here today. A thunderstorm moved through and dumped really cold rain on us. (It's supposed to happen for three more days, too. Brrr!)

The noise would be very hard for me to deal with. It gives me anxiety. I’d have to leave the house while it was being worked on. But it’ll just be good for you when it’s all finished!

@Marilynda1225 As much as I would appreciate that work being done in my house....oh those noises would eventually drive me insane! But how cool you are having it renovated! I hope it gets done soon as possible!

Our landlord is renovating all the flats in the coming months started with upstairs and the banging has been unbearable I go hide in the car to work lol. He is coming to our flat next so gonna live with noise for a while as well

That does sound very noisy there. Hope they get it done quickly so you don't have to deal with all that noise much longer. At least you have a landlord willing to renovate

@Marilynda1225 yeah he started promising renovations last year in May finally getting it done. Actually they are quick did the neighbor’s kitchen in 3 days so it’s quiet today. On Monday they are coming to my place. How’s yours coming along?
