A Rainy Day

It’s another rainy day. We did have a few beautiful sunny days with temps in the middle seventies, but today there was no sunrise. The sky was covered with clouds and the weatherman calling for rain. I hurried and dressed so I could hopefully get my walk before the rain started.
I walked about an hour with the clouds growing darker by the minute and got back to my apartment before the sky opened up and the rain poured down. I did some cleaning and finished reading my book, At Risk by Patricia Cornwall, worked a few Sudoku and read my Readers Dijest , my brother gifted me a subscription. Now I’m on Mylot.

I wish it would rain here.
Rain would mean it wasn't minus 5 C outside.
I have about 10 years worth of Readers Digest in the shed from the 80,s
I must read them some day.

Wish I could send you some rain. We’ve had more than enough. When I moved from the house to an apartment I left stacks of Readers Digest and other magazines in the attic. I don’t have room to keep magazines here so I take them to the free book box.

Something for everyone.
Donating them when I am finished with them is what I will do.
We haven't got room in the flat for them either.

We had a rainy day, around 50 degrees and I had to go do some shopping at a couple of stores. I'm glad it wasn't colder.

THe rainy days of the past month have stopped here. We are mostly having clear and sunny days and clouds appear sometimes in the sky. I had a good day at the ´park today. Had time to advance in simple but important things

I haven't had a Reader's Digest for years, but enjoyed their large print edition when I did. At this time, I can only read short blurbs here and there, and I hate audio books, so I let it go.
