Have you set your totally arbitrary MyLot goal for today?

I tricked you a little bit, didn't I? You thought I'd posted my monthly MyLot Goal discussion early. Even if just for a second. Buwaahaahaa! When I first signed up for MyLot, payout was $10, so I set my non-arbitrary daily MyLot goal at $0000.3334. I am competitive with myself, and I wanted to make payout.
Now, my standards have changed. I'm not satisfied unless I made $0000.X000 on any given day. I am home from Guitar Center, and am in relaxation mode. Only a French girl who likes musicians (and I mean French, not Swiss French or Canadian French) could divert my attention from MyLot and my book this evening.
I signed up two new students at Guitar Center today and sold one new guitar. I almost barfed a bit in my mouth as I heard the sales guy trying to sell my customer the "extended warranty," but that's the price I pay for working in Corporate America.
Have you set your MyLot goal for today? I think I can make mine if I post drivel, like this Discussion, and do some visiting. I will not eat any mushrooms or smoke mind-altering substances. Unless it is socially required of me.

I've never set a daily goal on myLot... I'm just happy with whatever amount I get through interacting with friends here.
I hated it when Walmart managers told me I had to sell extended warranties for things... It felt like they were telling me that the stuff we sold was so shoddy that the extended warranty was needed instead of a something for worrywarts.
Posting drivel still gets your thoughts and feelings out in public and friends will still interact with you on/over it.

@TheHorse Yes, I agree... Once in a while an extended warranty might be warranted if you're buying a phone or other easily breakable object for a kid or teenager but otherwise, as long as you take care of your things, you usually don't need them.

@DaddyEvil It might make sense if you were buying a kid a first cell phone. Good point.

I don't set ANY goals anymore. Things get done when they're done, and I'm happy to tell you I WILL be paid next time.

Getting paid is good. I have done some work recently for a flaky African lady who owes me over $0800.0000. I hope she doesn't die before paying me like that one guy did. He owed me $4,000.0000. How could @Vandana7 think I'm naive? I'm just...trusting.

I do not like your deviation from the "Monthly" goal discussion.
Yet if still you ask, sometimes I do like to teach at least 0.10. to 0.15 a day.
I am happy if my activities get me 0.2 + on some days.
People often accuse me of not being ambitious and this and that, but aren't we allowed to follow our own thinking in our lives.
Have you started selling Guitars regularly?
Does it gets you a good profit?
Have a nice Sunday!

It was good weather in Eugene today, did some walking, a little weeding and relaxed. No goal set yet,

@TheHorse The latter sounds like a good idea, wait, use the bar, not a ladder.

I just came back. Is the threshold still $5 or back to $10?
I don't buy extended warranties

@TheHorse Well yeah the weekends should be good time to rack up mylot savings. My favourite food here in the UK? To be honest I am not sure what British food is. Maybe steak? It usually is my favourite in all countries. And least favourite is black pudding although we Filipinos have a similar dish called "dinuguan" which is like a blood curry.

Totally and arbitrarily. Admit it, you just wanted your daily dose of T&A.
In a completely unrelated topic, I used the song “Often Is a Word I Seldom Use” in one of my music groups on Facebook the other day. Thought of you.

@TheHorse — how did I use it?
Carefully, carefully, careful….L-Y.
Oops, that’s Tom Lehrer.
There was a prompt for a song with puns or word plays in the title, so that was the one I picked.
I love the line “How’d you like to die in a house of mirrors with nobody around to close your eyes.”

@FourWalls That's about as cold as it gets I bet Warren Zevon wished he'd written that line.

I stopped setting goals on here years ago. If I make bank, I do. If I don't, I don't. There's always the next month.

No
No goals at all.
I only came back hee 10 days ago after 7 months away.
So any goal I set would end up an own goal.
So maybe 20 would be good.

@JimBo452020 MyLot away. If you can make me laugh, I will give you 20 bonus visits, and about two cents. I have not laughed since 1986. Except when I watched A Fish Called Wanda.
