We might start planning a trip to Bali

The photo is of another creation in the town of Boddington, Western Australia. It has nothing to do with the discussion.
We’ve just come home from a visit to Vince’s brother, the second eldest, who, at 83, is on his way home to Bali on Monday. He has a terminal lung condition and the climate in his area of Bali agrees with him very well whereas he was chronically unwell in his previous home in the south-west of WA.
He has lived there for some years now and regards it as ‘home’. He is very happy there and has fitted into the Catholic community very well. We might even plan a visit to him at some stage once we return from Ireland.
Many, many West Australians holiday in Bali as it’s a very close destination to us. The flight is slightly less than four hours so it’s closer to us than our son’s place in Melbourne. Prices are cheap and the lifestyle very relaxed.
So – who wants to come to Bali with us if we go?

@BarBaraPrz @rakski I wonder how many decades we are away from being able to do this. Unfortunately it will be a bit late for us.

If that had wings, I'd swear it was a mosquito.
I really wish Pretty and I could travel there. I'm sure we'd have a good time.

It would be gorgeous I would go! My nephew in his last year of college got invited to go there with his professor to present at a conference. It was quite an experience of course.

@snowy22315 Maybe I could rearrange a couple of the vows a little. I might make him add 'I promise not to wear stained T-shirts when we go out'. What do you think?

That is interesting and a good way to create art from all kinds of scraps, Bali sounds like an interesting place to visit. I have written about it. I could not afford to go to Bali but if you can I think it is a great idea to go visit Vince's brother and see how he lives there,

My mind was boggling for a minute but WA to me means Western Australia. Usually I write it out in full but, as I had just used it in full, I then abbreviated it. Sorry 'bout that.

Bali always sounds like such a great place. I read the other day that they are unhappy there since so many of both Russians and Ukrainians have come there to avoid the war.
