Our plans have the hiccups

I’ve talked about our upcoming trip to Ireland. I haven’t talked about the hiccups which have occurred over the last few days.
To cut a long story short, our son has been waiting on a new passport. Meanwhile his visa ran out, then he got his first ever speeding ticket and discovered his driving licence had expired. Vince is too old to hire a car so that left us with no transport for our visit there. Our nephew who will be arriving at Easter to spend a few days with us was happy to hire a car and drive us around but he is too young. He has a licence but hasn’t had it long enough to hire a car in Ireland.
So Damian was going to meet us in Dublin and we’d catch a train to get to Castlebar. However, now we’ve found out his passport should arrive today and everything else will then fall into place. That’s our hope. You might like to keep your fingers crossed for us.
That’s the first hiccup. I’ll write about the second hiccup maybe next time. The photo was taken in Ireland.

Look at those curious eyes in the picture.
. Even they seem to be waiting for you in Ireland
.
I hope that everything falls in place in time and you can go ahead with your travel as planned.

I don't think I've ever seen cuter donkeys.
Somebody should tell the powers that be in Ireland that they're being ageist. People live much longer these days and keep in good health, too.

All this means a few complications and better to be on the side of law.
I just hope that things fall in place for you within time.
An International trip does takes a fair bit of planning.

I'm sure it's more than irritating to deal with it all, but at least you weren't stuck there with no ride, so that's one good thing. I'm sure it will all work out, just maybe not the exact time you had planned for it to.
