What a mess

Today is garbage day around here. It is also fiercely windy. So the wind has been upsetting and redistributing all the recycling from across the road, either onto my front yard or down the street. The wind has also knocked off some metal pieces in the back.
It was up to 9°C/48°F around noon but the temp has gone down a couple of degrees. It's supposed to snow later on. It's 3:47 and so far not snowing but the nice radio guy mentioned a few minutes ago that they were getting some in Toronto.

I'm sorry the weather is causing you problems today... and likely tomorrow... I keep having to go out and retrieve the trash cans up and down the street or they'd be blocking the highway... I drag them back to our yard and the neighbors retrieve their cans from my yard.
At least we're just supposed to get rain and fairly decent temps over the next few days.

9°C this morning was fairly decent but it's 0°C now (7:37 pm) and still windy.

There's just a scattering on the lawn this morning. The sun is mostly out and it's supposed to get to 4°C/40°F so I'm expecting it to be gone by the end of the day. If not, it's supposed to rain tomorrow (Friday) and reach 10°C/50°F and 14° on Saturday.

I hate when that happens and everyones trash winds up on my lawn. Gusting winds and garbage days definitely don't go together.

I spent part of the morning gathering the stuff up and putting it back where it came from. But after the third time, I just let it blow down the street.

Yeah, no kidding. It's now 0°C but it seems to have stopped snowing. Still blowing, though.
