Last and last

Last day of my work week and last day of the month. I am going to make a few changes in how I eat, and hopefully avoid the break room. My weight is creeping up, as well as the blood sugar, and blood pressure. I am going to start with small changes. Often on Fridays I buy a pop--today I will make unsweetened tea. I love bread, but I will not have any in my lunch, because I know I will have some tonight. I am going to walk more, inside or out. I am just about ready to meet a different goal here. I have earned a little more here this month than I have in ages. It is time for me to put on a sweater and head out to the car. I hope you have a fabulous Friday.

same with you, I have to start some changes again with my diet eating less carbs and I need to move a lot

@allknowing Adding magnesium rich foods also helps prevent some types of headaches.

Good for you to make small changes that will help you in the long run. Glad you did good here this month. I'm a little bit behind in making pay out. Bright side is I have a good start for making it next month. Have a wonderful weekend.

Well, I have strep now and am on antibiotics again. Those meds mess with everything else, but I have avoided buying a pop.

@GardenGerty Tea, coffee and orange juice, lots of "sweets" made with peanut butter and cereal, and only a few little cucumber sandwiches. I would have like more sandwiches.

When I was still working and it was break time I would head outside instead of to the break room. The building was huge and if I hurried I could walk clear around it before break time was over. Even had time for a potty break if I hurried along. Good luck losing some weight.

I hope you enjoy your day. Losing weight is hard... I cut back on what I eat but still don't get enough exercise. I'm going to try to fix that... Walking around in the yard, if nothing else. At least if I fall, it will be on grass. And Pretty will eventually check on me there.

I have a big enough yard I can get out and stumble around. I should do that, I would enjoy some fresh air. I have just felt so cold and tired.

@GardenGerty We have a large back yard and there are lots of interesting trees to look at back there. Our yard backs onto a culvert that is deep but dry unless we've had rain lately. We have a small forest growing in our yard and down into the culvert. There are a lot of interesting plants growing in that forest.

Glad you made more here. I too now have access to a four-pronged cane and will start by getting out at lest twice a week walking. I hope you had a great Friday and will have a good weekend,

That weight really is sneaky, it just sort of creeps up slowly and then it hits you--and you wonder how you missed it. Happened to me, too. When I did realize it at long last, I was irritated at myself. It's good that you are being careful.

You reminded me of my own walking regimen and diet plan. I should stick to these plans too. However, it is not comfortable exercising in this extreme heat. The temperature went down a little bit.
