Trending Colors For Spring

United States
March 31, 2023 9:26am CST
Do you follow trends? I heard yesterday that the popular colors for spring this year will be Kelly Green, Hot Pink and Lavender. None of those colors appeal to me and I really don't wear colors that are that bright. I'm more of a lighter shade of those colors and blue is my favorite color overall. If you're shopping for clothes would you pick any of these colors to wear?

Nope, can't say as any of those would hold any appeal for me. I like to keep it simple, pretty much grey sweats, white socks, grey or black boxer/briefs, and a black or white t-shirt. Any color is normally supplied by various flannels.

I like pastels for spring and summer, those brighter colors seem to attract the heat more.

I'm not really fond of purple or any shades in the purple family but if I had to choose one of those colors to wear I'd probably pick the lavender over kelly green or hot pink

I have noticed those colours also. I like a softer pink for me, more of a coral actually, but the hot pink does look nice on younger people.

I like softer colors too and would pick a soft pink over hot pink. Pastels are more my style

I'm not a trendy person. Though I think the Kelly green and lavender would look good on me.

Maybe when I was younger I would have worn brighter colors but now I feel more comfortable in softer shades

@Marilynda1225 I'm not into bright colors. Is Kelly green bright? It seems a darker color to me. I'll need to look that one up. All green looks good on me.

Maybe lavendar, but basically, I'm with you. I'll wear Kelly green on March 17, but not very often on other occasions.

Although I do have a couple of tops in bright colors, they wouldn't be my first choice; and I don't follow trends.

Those are colors that I would also never wear. I look sick wearing blue, I like pastel colors, pink is fine, but not hot pink, better a salmon or a baby blue, also very light yellow.

I would wear the Kelly Green but not the other colors. Green always looks good with my auburn hair. Medium blue is my favorite color but people tell me I look best in light green.

Maybe lavender but a dark version is it. I look better with bright, darker colors along with colors mixed with black to assignment my skin tones.

Kelly Green for me Hot pink but not Lavender, would remind me of my great grandmothers method of disguising pee odour.
